'Deathly Hallows - Part 2' breaking all time records

Deathly Hallows - Part 2 continues to work its way up the worldwide All-Time Box Office List.

The final Potter film has now moved passed Alice in Wonderland and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to take hold of the No. 6 spot.

To date, Part 2 has made $1.038 billion and is just $25 million behind Toy Story 3 and $28 million behind Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest. With the film's opening in China yesterday, it should secure the No. 4 spot when yesterday's foreign numbers are posted later today.

Additionally, the film passed Sorcerer's Stone domestically, having now made $325 million at the U.S. box office.

'Deathly Hallows - Part 2' passes 'Prisoner of Azkaban,'

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 brought in $48 million over the weekend here in the United States, coming in behind Captain America: The First Avenger.

The film dropped 72 percent at the box office, the worst for any Harry Potter film.

However, according to Box Office Mojo, the fall is due more to the film's record-setting opening than how movie-goers felt about the film.

The final installment is still topping the charts overseas, and through Sunday has made $834 million worldwide, passing Prisoner of Azkaban.

THE MOVIE WAS AMAZINGGG!!

Im back fresh from the theatre, midnight session with loads of fans and commentary throughout the film lol, nice experience..
I watched the film in standard 2D.. I enjoyed the movie throughout. and the reviews are right part 1 is good to re-watch before the finale..
It starts of fairly slowly, as there is quite a load of dialogue covered in the opening scenes..
the movie begins with a quick snapshot of Voldemort stealing the wand seen in Part 1. then immediatley the WB logo appears with lillys theme, the dementor scenery then appears after the smoke with snape as the new headmaster.. we then are back at Shell Cottage.. ok now no more extreme detail, it is this scenes that contain the most dialogue, the movie picks up its pace and starts the epic journey once hermione and gang enter and go on a roller coaster of a ride to the vault which after this moves directly to meeting Abeforth, and then to Hogwarts were all the trouble is brewing.. perfect cinematography throughout with the amazing score matching the epic moments on screen.

You can feel the menacing feel of the battle , as this HP movie contained the bloodiest to date (espec the voldemort walking on bodies).. Whilst at Hogwarts everything unravels so quickly, no time to catch a breath.. the darkness is balanced with humour and emotion, this film does not have the same happy feeling though, it was by far the most emotional also with all the stunning scenery, effects and score, my friends had a few problems with it and im sure many hpfans who want extreme detail will be a bit on edge as Voldemort is seen as humorous by the end of the film rather then menacing, the kiss had the crowd cheering and was done nicely but you dont see a full lip lock as Ron's head covers hermione. the showdown i felt goes by a bit to fast and the jumping off bridge scene in the movie sounds different and is a bit wierd when harry and Voldemort faces morph together with a few second of it just smiling on screen , overall though the acting was superb, everything felt more intense, it was beautifully delivered and i am quite pleased with it. Make sure to bring some tissues as it did bring a few tears espec the snape and Fred scene. It is the best HP film in the series, and will ever be as there are no more to top it. its very late here lol, and im still righting on excitement. I loved it 10/10

Ask any questions, will be happy to answer
